Happy National Dessert Day from Walt Disney Parks and Resorts! To celebrate, we’re sharing eight recipes featuring some of our favorite sweets and treats from Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.
1.
The perfect dessert to celebrate a special occasion, though a bite of the chocolate ganache on top of this cake makes any day worthy of a celebration.
2. Banana Toffee Mousse, The Hollywood Brown Derby, Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Chocolate, toffee and bananas evoke the Golden Age of Hollywood in this delicious dessert from The Hollywood Brown Derby.
3. Honey Lemon’s Honeybee Cupcakes
We tweaked this favorite from Hungry Bear Restaurant in Disneyland park for the release of “Big Hero 6,” and the recipe is still as sweet as honey!

Wow! Thanks!!! 🙂 🙂
How about the carrot cake cup cakes at Sunshine Seasons
These look like a lot of thought went into developing and preparing them.
Are there any vegan dessert options in the parks?
Rachel —
Are the Honey Lemon cupcakes still available at the Hungry Bear Restaurant? There were recent reports from park guests (within the last couple of months) to indicate that the cupcake and at least one other very popular item were removed from the Hungry Bear’s menu. Then there was a bit of a question as to whether or not the cupcake was still there. So it would be good to get clarification.
James’ wife here – Hey, thanks for letting me know it is National Dessert Day! I had no idea.
Well in the spirit of this National Holiday, I will have to partake and try out one (or two) of these recipes!
I just recently copied from Disney the pumpkin beignets and was contemplating making them soon, but I think #1 and #3 “take the cake” for me to try out! Both recipes appear to be pretty simple too, which is always nice…thanks for the offerings of the recipes.…maybe there can be an app for ordering food from WDW to be shipped… 😉
